It’s good to be back in 2022!
After a 2-year pandemic-enforced break, we are delighted to announce the names of the competitors selected for this year’s returning competition!
After careful consideration of all of this year’s entries and the mouth-watering menus submitted by chefs and home cooks throughout the South West, our judges have selected the entrants they would like to invite to prepare their menus in the next rounds of the competition.
Below you will find the names of those who will be competing in the semi-finals of the Professional, Young Professional and Student/Apprentice Chef categories and the finals of the Home Cook and Junior Chef categories. The finalists in our Junior Chef category (aged 11-16) have already won the finals held during June within their own counties, to reach the South West final.
“Thank you very much to everyone who has entered this year. The standard of entries has made judging them very tough! If yours was not selected this time, we hope you will enter again next year”
Michael Caines MBE DL
